NEWS!!!!!! September 18, 2002: FSE LIVES!!! Mike, Graham, and Owen have engaged in discussion about a new FSE album and the answer was emphatically, "YES!!!" This Christmas break, the three FSE'ers will convene somewhere in Merry Ol' Easton to record a third album. The title is still being discussed, but you can be assured that this album will feature much more straight-ahead, 3-piece, guitar-drums-bass rock than the previous two. It's an exciting time for music, and we will be a part of it! Don't you miss out, now!
June 29, 2002: DOES THE FSE BAND STILL LIVE?!?!?! WILL "THE UNPRONOUNCEABLE SOUND . . ." EVER BE RELEASED?!?!?! WILL THERE BE ONE MORE FSE ALBUM IN NEAR FUTURE?!?!?! THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS AND MORE MAY SOON COME!!!! Meantime, read the liner notes for "The Unpronounceable Sound of . . . The FSE Band." January 1, 2002: I am proud to announce the completion of The FSE Band's sophomore album, entitled: "The Unpronounceable Sound of The FSE Band." The tracks were recorded in three days at the Osborne household, from December 27th-29th, and mixed, subsequently at the Buozis household on December 31st. It's release date is yet to be decided, but we shall certainly keep you posted. Let it suffice to say, it will be available through mp3.com very soon. Keep your eyes open! November 30, 2001: No FSE news today, only the sad news of the passing of the incomparable George Harrison. If you get a minute today, listen to just one of his songs. Keep his memory alive. "All things must pass. All things must pass away." November 16, 2001 (2:00 a.m.): This is an update just to let you all know that life is so good. Look for the new FSE album by the beginning of next year. It'll be so good, because life is so good . . . October 28, 2001: The wait is over!!!!! "Solitude, Baby!" is now available for order through mp3.com!!!! Click on over there through the "Elastic Songs" link on our front page and check it out!! Buy it, if you like!!! We should have some new pics up soon, including a good size version of the cover art . . . October 23, 2001: Over the weekend, we finished the cover art and submitted the album specs for order to mp3.com. It should be available shortly. Also, plans for recording the next album are in the making. More on that hopefully special session to come . . . October 9, 2001: K! For starters, the track-list below has been retro-actively altered in order to correctly list the . . . track order. And so, the big news: The album has been OFFICIALLY titled "Solitude, Baby!" It will shortly be available for purchase through mp3.com, BUT you can, at anytime, download all of the tracks from the site FOR FREE!!!! Figure that one out for yourselves. Also, if you are interested in acquiring a physical copy of the cd, either track down one of us, or e-mail Joey Toyota at joeytoyota@hotmail.com, and he will find a way to hook YOU UP! Also, there's a new page on the site that lists the tracks and the info about them. (It's located at "Solitude, Baby!" on the main page.) This concludes our broadcast day. October 2, 2001: This is a piece of information that I neglected to mention yesterday, but probably could have. We do have the tenative track-listing for the album, and it is as follows: -1. No Meaning In My Heart (Parts II-VI) The tracks have yet to be mixed down, but once they are, they will be posted at mp3.com as well as available for sale by mp3.com and the band as an actual album. This all should happen sometime before the end of October. October 1, 2001: This site has just been constructed for purposes of putting the FSE band on the web with more info for the people. As a first installment of the news, I offer you . . . the FSE chronology: -August 25, 2001: The Fantastic Spastic Elastic Band is officially formed while recording tracks at the Boucher residence. -September 20-23: The band records 5 more tracks to complete their forthcoming debut album. -October 1, 2001: This website is constructed. *End of Chronology* |
