"Solitude, Baby!"
Solitude, Baby!

What follows is a brief explanation of the origins and recording information for each track on the FSE band's debut release, "Solitude, Baby!"

"No Meaning In My Heart (Part I)" - The album's esoteric, anthemic intrada. This sets the tone for the album and introduces the "NMIMH" theme for later use toward the climax.

-Graham W. Osborne - Guitar
-Recorded in Room 1 of the Osborne Recording Suite.

"Paranoia Morning" - This one was written by Mike basically on the spot of recording it. It is generally about a realization concerning "second-degree friends."

-Mike Buozis - Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Percussion on Guitar, Mouth Sounds, and Vocals
-Recorded in the Buozis Attic Studio.

"Spiked Lemonade/Spiked Coffee" - A slightly more cohesive tune, this song sounds happy, but speaks nasty.

-Mike Buozis - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
-Graham W. Osborne - Keyboards, Back-Up Vocals
-Owen Osborne - Drums, 12-String Acoustic Guitar
-Recorded in the Boucher Homestead Studio.

"Waved" - Here the album mellows out, briefly. Another of Mike's solo efforts, this features some nice arpeggio guitar.

-Mike Buozis - Acoustic Guitar, Piano, Vocals, Whistling
-Recorded in the Boucher Homestead Studio.

"There Is An In" - The first equally collaborative effort of the band's career. Also features Graham's lead vocals for the first time on the album, and Owen's lead vocals (found at the end) for the first time on any album.

-Mike Buozis - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
-Graham W. Osborne - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
-Owen Osborne - 12-String Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
-Recorded in the Boucher Homestead Studio.

"Pouvoir (Your Soul Is A Jelly Jar)" - Ceci est quand le dude reçoit bu. Il est un moment de confusion et complète le manque de cohérence. Il est fondamentalement seulement un embouteillage de goofy et pointless.

-Mike Buozis - Guitar, Tambourine, Random Stupid Noises, Vocals
-Graham W. Osborne - Keyboards, Bass, Obnoxious Sounds, Vocals
-Owen Osborne - Conga, Shaker, Chanter, Idiotic Shouts, Mumbles, and Gargles, Vocals
-Recorded in Rooms 1 & 2 of the Osborne Recording Suite.

"Looking For Jack" - This is a more upbeat number that was done, again, by Mike on his own, prior to the formation of the FSE band.

-Mike Buozis - Keyboards, Vocals
-Recorded in the Buozis Attic Studio.

"You And I" - This is sentimental tacky crap. It's "sad-bastard" music. Actually, the funny thing about this song is that it predates even Little Nero. It was written by Graham, originally, for Penfold, but played more as a Glam-Rocket song.

-Mike Buozis - Keyboards, Acoustic Guitar
-Graham W. Osborne - Acousitc Guitar, Vocals
-Owen Osborne - Drums
-Recorded in Room 1 of the Osborne Recording Suite.

"Jam Ain't Jelly" - It's just a freaking jam.

-Mike Buozis - Acoustic Guitar
-Graham W. Osborne - Keyboards
-Owen Osborne - Guitar
-Recorded in Room 1 of the Osborne Recording Suite.

"Root 101" - Very dark. Mike is trying to scare you. Is it working?

-Mike Buozis - Guitar, Vocals
-Recorded in the Buozis Attic Studio.

"No Meaning In My Heart (Parts II-VI) - Maybe the strongest piece on the album (with possible exception of "There Is An In.") It is a much more collaborative piece than most of the rest, and that seems to fare well with the group. Each member contributed various sections of this song.

-Mike Buozis - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
-Graham W. Osborne - Keyboards
-Owen Osborne - Programming, Guitar
-Recorded in Room 1 of the Osborne Recording Suite.
